Unfortunately just heardon the radio the sudden death of Gerard Kelly at the age of 51 Gerard was fast becoming a legendary Scots comic and will be forever remembered for his potrayal of the hapless bank clerk 'Willie Melvin' in the comedy series City Lights. He was due to appear in the Rocky Horror Show at the Kings in Glasgow next month and then his usual festive pantomine at the same theatre God rest him
He was also a fantastic villain on Brookside - showed he had more than one string to his bow RIP
Aye, another sad loss....
