I like bowties as well. I think that they look wonderful when paired with a tweed jacket, a sweater vest, and a fedora. I don't think they would go so well with a kilt though, except for a formal outfit.
Where do you get yours? I keep an eye out at the thrift shops for them as most stores nowdays don't seem to carry them.
