    A different style of music.

I know that most here love the 'pipes', as do I. However, I've found a
young lad on youtube that takes music interpetation, and the organ, to
a new level. If you are so inclined, he has 6 videos each 2-5 minutes long.
    Here is the link----

BTW-He is 17 years old and lives in Germany. His fingers fly
so fast-I can't keep up. He does a great job with Glenn Miller's
    'In-The-Mood'.

My dad plays by "ear" but I doubt if he could do that. That was awesome, and are now bookmarked to watch again.

Though digital organ is not my favorite, I really enjoyed that - a one man dance band! I kept imagining him at one of the great theater organs I've had the privilege of hearing.

Didn't know you were an organist - I listen to Pipedreams online often. Thanks for the link.

    Regards,
    Rex.

Theatre Organs? Rex--You're a man after my own heart. If you
would like, visit the ATOS website www.atos.org and click on
conventions. The 2008 national convention will be held in and around
Indianapolis. The After-Glow will be in Cincinnatti. You may want to
consider joining the National group. You can find your local chapter
from the National website. ATOS ( American Theatre Organ Society )
was formed to restore, promote, and preserve the Theatre Organ and
    it's music. Our North Texas Chapter ( NTC-ATOS ) has restored a
1926-ish vintage Wurlitzer 3/17 Theatre Organ and installed it in
the McKinney Performing Arts Center ( MPAC ) up in McKinney, TX.
At each of our 6 chapter meetings a year, we have a guest artist.
After the performance we have goodies to eat and Open Console.
During 'Open Console', ANYONE can play the theatre organ.
Once in a while I even get to play the beast!

I hope you enjoy the ATOS website.
