Divorce

I would really like to thank all the great members of X Marks the Scot for helping me through this trying time as I endure my divorce and eventually transition from being married to single again. Reading all the great posts and posting a few comments and questions has helped to keep my sanity.

The one good thing about our marriage is that we never had any children, so no little ones to get upset or fight over.

Sorry this has proven to be a difficult time for you. There is an awful lot of goodwill on XMTS and I'm glad you have found this place a bit of a safe harbor in the midst of the storm.

So sorry to hear of your divorce. My wife passed away last month after 35 years of marriage, I know what you mean about the transition from married to single life. I found XMTS very helpful over the last month. Keep posting and keep busy, it's the best thing you can do. Good luck!

I'm glad this place has helped in the beginning of the healing process. I'm grateful for you as well that you didn't have any children. I've been divorced and we have a 5 year old boy. It makes it extremely difficult in some areas.
