England is great, so is my mate

Lets see, where was I...Oh yes, time does zoom by...Got back a couple of weeks ago from another trip to England. I LOVE BRITAIN. Whilst there I took the Knowledge of Life test for my someday settlement visa. (Anyone over there have a place they want to let/rent?)

But the best part was hanging with my mate English Bloke! Next to my kilt, his Bruce is the second one I have seen in person. Beautiful! I got to touch it! Ooooooo! This kilt chatter makes so much more sense when you get to see them in person. Oh and I tried several beers and actually liked one and had a malt three times-not in a row mind-just to prove I could! One was fierce too...I think...I have a lot to learn...Yes and I beat EB in arm wrestling without the influence of beers or malts. Looks are soooo deceiving! Hahahaha!

It is a wonderful story but, without pictures, it simply did not happen. Terribly sorry weepeskythistle but the rules are quite clear about this.

It was fun indeed. There are pictures but I'll not post them unless you tell me it's OK Weepesky... Save this one.

Kind of neat you all got to meet up.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

Haha, wonder why?! Anyway, IF I decide to post photos and I don't have to if I don't want to, I will tell you which one or two to post as I don't know how to get them on here. Thanks John. In the meantime people, don't hold your collective breath.

Oh, I also tried FOUR malts, not three! Yes, I am quite proud of myself! See I can brag too after hanging out here!

We met Weepeskythistle and a couple of her companion travellers in York. It was a beautiful day.

By coincidence the City of York Pipe Band was busking in Parliament Street. The band wear Flower of Scotland tartan... in the main.

At the other end of the street, another bunch were busking New Orleans style jazz. York is a great city for music.

I was wearing my Bruce that day. We had a smashin' time.
