Has anyone heard from David recently? I see in the members list that he hasn't posted on the forum since December of 2010. I hope he isn't ill or anything such as that. Perhaps he is just another valued member who simply lost interest.

Not trying to broach this forum's etiquette so I'll try to be circumloquacious.

Brace yerself...I know that this is going to be hard to believe...you might want to sit down...there are a couple of other kilt forums. Yes...I had the same reaction when I found out....

...anyway, I'm not saying for sure but there is the possibility that you might find more than one person who has participated in this forum in the past posting on one or more of those other forums on a regular basis. I'm not sure if the party that you are inquiring about is one of them but it's a possibility.

Obviously, it's a free country...countries(?)...so that's how it is. Personally, I spend enough time on this forum so I don't really bother with the other ones but some folks do...not that there's anything wrong with that....so you may want to google around and see if he's posting to one of the other ones.

I haven't heard from David for a wee while. I have both David and his sister as Facebook friends and I have heard from her recently. As far as I am aware all is well with David.

Thanks guys. It is certainly David's right to go anywhere he wishes. But, when a regular on the forum just disappears, I start to worry that something might have happened to them. My wife once asked me if I had a list of my user names and passwords anywhere so that if I should become ill, or worse that she could notify everyone what happened. Thus, there have been quite a few in the past about whom I've inquired.
