"Generic" Celtic-theme Jewelry
Thought I'd start a thread regarding Celtic-motif bling that didn't necessarily involve kilt pins or plaid brooches (not that there's anything wrong with those!). This is the place to post pics of other stuff you like.
I'll start with this sterling medallion from Sean's Celtic Creations. I actually pondered this one for a couple of years before I bought it, and I've worn it 24/7 for three years:
"It's all the same to me, war or peace,
I'm killed in the war or hung during peace."

I've purchased three rings from Sean over the years over the years and the craftsmanship is superb, as your photo well illustrates. The pieces he has designed have a unique flair, and he's a great guy to do business with. The one below has a gold overlay on the triskelion.

We like his work so much my daughter and her husband commissioned Sean to do their wedding bands.

Mike Duncan has this pendant on the way to me, should arrive tomorrow. I've always had a thing for the Morrigan. ;)
Metals used are sterling silver, bronze, and 23.5 carat gold. Bone beads on the neck thong.
It's a raven, with knotwork Celtic hounds (symbolizing loyalty and protection; they also guard the gates to the Otherworld). The "shoulders" of the piece are bird heads (herons or cranes), their beaks holding dangling oak leaves.

I love the elegant yet powerful simplicity of that one. I generally don't wear rings because they tend to get in the way of some types of hand strikes; but there IS one I wear 24/7 on the "social finger" of my left hand. I knew the maker, Garth Duncan, here in California before he relocated to Skye; I have his "wide" Culloden Knot band in silver -- you can just see the edge of it in my original post above.

Thank you for displaying Sean's work, my wife and I have an anniversary coming up soon and this may be an answer to it.

Another piece I wear 24/7 is the "Kintail" cuff bracelet from Walker Metalsmiths:

A better look at the Kintail bracelet: the knotwork stands out more once the background has oxidized a bit:
"It's all the same to me, war or peace,
I'm killed in the war or hung during peace."
