My daughter in law is in hospital again due to further complications from her pregnancy.

My grandson will probably be born tomorrow, slightly early, but he seems to have remained unaffected by everything that has gone on over the last six months.

He has been scanned and measured and his mum has been backwards and forwards to the hospital dozens of times.

Now the ligaments holding her pelvis together have loosened and she can't move her legs without pain.

We rescued her from their car Friday lunchtime - thankfully she had parked close by our house, so I could call my husband to come home to drive it (I couldn't have done so legally) and get her to the maternity hospital.

The hospital staff have now made all preparations for the delivery, protection against the Strep B infection, one last blood thinning injection - her legs have swollen as she is immobile, and so Hayden James should emerge either by an induced birth or a Cesarean section quite soon, probably on Sunday.

His mother just wants him born safely, but born, his father is just a quivering mass of nerves - the whole family is on tenterhooks.

Your thoughts, prayers and incendiary activities for a good outcome would be much appreciated.
