Happy to say, that: Sorry I'm back!
As many have noticed I had been absent from the forum for a short while. Thanks to the multitude of members who'd PMed me to find out where I was (OK 3 of you). True it was because I owed two of them money and the other thought they were PMing someone else. Despite Panache's insistence that I was taking yet another respite at the Saskatchewan Institute of the Criminally Kilted this is untrue as due to bugetary cuts pudding is no longer served. It is hoped that in this time Mike1 has been able to regrow the patches of hair that he pulled out as a result of my posts. Truth is that after a year I lower my priorities of posting to spend some more time with my family. Watching my kids around the pool, instead of pulling my laptop outside squinting at the screen, I've instead starting to convert my kayak for expedition. I now have a gimballed cup holder on it that will keep my coffee upright in the event of a rollover. True it will be under water for 180° of those 360° and will fill with water, at least it won't spill! Also my regular Coast Guard activities and the building of a private paintball field I never really missed when my internet went down for a week.
Not to say that I haven't missed all of you guys, I have. For those who thought I've stayed away because I've been somehow insulted by taking good hearted ribbing of friends... Nothing can be further from the truth. As pointed out I can dish it out as well as I can take it. Case in point: That Numpty McMurdo has stolen so many of my kilt checks that he now stands in the dozens and I'm still at 1 (thanks Robert's dog with the cold wet nose*), yet I will still call him my friend (especially after I slash his tires). So bring it on people .
*Isadora, please call me.

Oh Grant, how dull everything was without the gleam of your hair blinding us all.
Glad to have you back.

Those flowing locks and world famous firm buttocks have been sadly missed and my shares in rubberchicken.inc had taken a dive.
Welcome Back Grant!

Grant, you were most definitely missed. There were a couple of threads where I expected a comment from you that were left empty and lacking... Welcome back!
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon
