Happy Saint David's Day!
There are many beautiful Welsh tartans. Here is one of them...Powys, which I made into a box pleated kilt.

Great pic Bonnie ... one day I am going for a box pleat cilt/kilt .... alas, my intentions to go on the march went astray as I got roped into an impromptu St Davids Day folk session at a local pub ...

I plan on getting a box pleated one as well, in the Edwards tartan. The Welsh National tartan is a Jim Dandy too.

I haven't been on here for ages, so a belated Happy St.David's day to all with Welsh blood. I do caution you against buying Welsh cilts from the "Wales Tartan Centre." I had to return my "Powell of Wales" cilt simply because it was badly made without a stabiliser and the stitching came apart due to the strain on it from doing up the straps.

No indeed Mel. I remember the horrors that you went through with that ordeal! I would definitely have one of the superb kilt makers here on Xmarks make one up for those interested.
