Has anyone used Irish Tourism Group for holiday planning
The Mrs Standard and I are planning a trip to Ireland this fall (her native land). She has been looking into booking a 10 night self drive tour through the company Irish Tourism Group. They look like a reputable company, and were very quick with replies to all of our questions. Have any of you rabble made use of their services before? We received their proposed itinerary, lodging locations and side trip possibilities via email, and spend some time this evening with Google looking up the lodgings and some of the locations along the driving route. All seems in place, and nothing seems out of sorts with them. However spending that much money on a vacation to an area we've never been before I thought I'd see if any of you have any experience with them. Thanks for any help, and here's a link to their website.

I have been to Ireland many times I was last over in November. I do all of my own bookings and planning and have a great time. If you do not mind the extra leg work, I personally enjoy it, and planning your itineraries you can definitely save a few Euro. So if you want someone to take care of the details it might be a good option. If you need any recommendations in Galway, Connemara, or Dublin (which are the places I have visited the most) send me a message.

Thanks for the offer of help. Once we get further along with our tour planning I'll definitely pick your brain for some ideas.

Visit to Ireland
I would say book the hotels and B+B yourselfs, there are certain times of the year though where it would be ill advised to go to certain areas when there are festivals on as they tend to double the price in hotels and the like, there are a few good hotel booking portals where you get amazing deals, so well worth a look if you know where you want to visit and so on,
If you want any advice give me a shout,
