Heartbroken
I just found my 3 month old iPod Touch in the bottom of the washer.

Arrrrgh! In the words of my Cousin Willie, "I feel your pain."
I have a hard time with electronics that are so light that you may not even feel them in a pocket...that or you might drop it and not know it.
Everybody I know who's gotten an i-phone feels like it has become their best friend...I hope that you don't feel like you've lost a buddy there.
Best

Noooo! Why is it always the young ones that are taken from us? Why?
Dude, that sucks...but it is Christmas...with the right hinting, may be Santa can bring you a replacement!

Yeah, I'm afraid I did. It certainly feels like I lost a buddy. I'm just... well heartbroken.

Yeah, that won't be happening this year. Between the gas lines having to be replaced, the plumbing requiring repair, and yesterday the $350 worth of heater repair, PLUS all the Christmas shopping. We're pretty much tapped out this year. It will be a long while before I get a replacement, if ever. I don't even know that I will replace it after the disgust I feel this morning.

that's what you get for washing your clothes
seriously though, I remember when I got caught in a huge rainstorm and my iPod got soaked. I was so upset when it wouldn't work. Luckily I had 2 days left on the warranty and "it just stopped working" (semi-true, it worked briefly after the storm). Dry it out and try sending it in?

In the last year, I've taken a soak in a hot-tub with my first Razr in my swim trunk pocket, dropped my Blackberry under the tire of a moving 18-wheeler, shattered the screen of my Nokia 5300 Xpress Music by dropping then stepping on it, dropped my second Razr in the only puddle for 10 miles, and lost, yep, just lost my Palm LifeDrive.
I feel your pain in spades.

Well, take solace that it is better than my first thought.
I read it quickly and thought I read "...I found my 3 month old POOCH..."
Glad to hear your dog is OK!

I don't know what these contraptions are (I've only JUST learned how to programme my VCR.....) Not really 'with it' but I can't drop my Casette deck in the wash......
