Honor for my daughter.
Tonight I went with my daughter as she was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for two year colleges. She attending Bellingham Technical College in the Automotive Technology program. In her first quarter she made the Deans list with a 4.0 grade average. I do not know who felt honored more she or myself.

What a great honor, and how good it is to hear of other females entering the auto tech world!

Still my beating heart. A smart girl who can fix cars. Now that's what I call a woman!
I know you're proud. My own daughter used to paint houses and hang sheetrock with her husband. But she can still dress up in "girl clothes" (as she calls them) and hold her own with anyone.
Congratulations on having been successful in raising your child.

Congratulations to both of you! Winning honours like that tells me she not only learned what there was to learn, but she learned how to learn.

Congrats to a "sister." Made Phi Theta Kappa myself. No small thing. You should be rightfully proud.
