It's typhoon season in Japan and we are getting hit by one right now. Normally they don't bother me much - this is my fourth typhoon season - but this one is loud and starting to make me edgy! Sat map here.

Ahh yes, I remember the typhoons when I lived on the Island of Okinawa. The Island is so small the storm just blew over like it wasn’t even there. The eye of a 200+ mph storm crossed over us once. Unique experience. Just hunker down and keep the shutters closed on the windows.

Just like a hurricane.... Close everything up...bring in all the pool stuff....get bags of cheetos and ice....and cases of booze and beer.... Your good for a few days.

I hate Typhoons too. I used to live in Hong Kong and I spend most of my birthdays sitting at home because of them!!
A serious wind test for heavyweight kilts! .
It was mostly wind. I was expecting a lot more rain, but I guess Iwakuni wasnt on the straight path of the typhoon. Although it made my rack shake a couple of times. Hope all is well down there.
