    I'm So Confused

Last nite I went to the Irish Pub near my house. My friend Jay was the featured entertainment. Jay is full blooded American Indian, can't remember which tribe though I think it's Cherokee. He grew up in Georgia and works on a horse ranch here in Tucson. He plays a killer acoustic guitar and has a wonderfull singing voice. He learned of my trip to Ireland last summer and asked me to help him learn some Irish tunes for this years St Patty's Day celebration. He said he was almost lynched last year for not knowing any Irish tunes.

I loaned him a 3 CD set of Irish Pub Tunes. Most of the songs are simple and require only 1 guitar and lots of alcohol to make them enjoyable. Well at the same time Jay is getting his PhD in Animal Husbandry and didn't have the time learn any new songs. So his set consisted of his normal tunes, and in between he played the Irish tunes for the crowd to enjoy. While a little disappointed that he wasn't singing any of the songs I loaned him, I certainly understand the rigors of getting a degree and we all had a good time anyway.

About midway through the evening, the KiltedFirePiper showed up looking to entertain the crowd with his bag pipes. The owner was overwhelmed with the SRO crowd, so I asked Jay to let KFP entertain the crowd for a few minutes. Jay was more than happy to let a fellow musician have a few minutes of fame.
KFP brought the house down with some jigs and reels played on the pipes before he move on to the next establishment.

All the while I was wearing my Irish Saffron Kilt purchased from Stillwater Kilts. I got all kinds of positive comments, some drooling stares, some intriguing offers, and, well it's a family forum!

So what am I confuse about?
I have no photographs to prove this happened. So, was it all a dream, am I hallucinating, how do I know what to believe? I'm so confused.

    Thank you, no pictures needed.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Your word portrait is good enough.
Been there and done that (or similar).
