It's Hogmanay and my kilt shrank in the closet!
I'll get by, with the straps on the last holes and the belt cinched a bit, but I really ought to address this situation in the new year. (We need a fat guy smilie to insert here)
Happy Hogmanay, everyone!

Happy Hogmanay everyone!
I'll probably get hate mail for this but I had the exact opposite problem. My kilt got bigger. I had to punch another hole in the straps. My son outweighs me by 30 lbs so he got himself a nice Argyle Jacket while I had to buy a new one.

This is not a phenomenon I have so far encountered!

I had to buy the gremlin prevention straps last year, so that the kilt magically became bigger. Of course that has lead me towards thinking about kilt #2. It is a vicious circle.

I've gone a bit in the other direction, simply by laying off the crappy lunches and soda. (The intestinal bug my schoolteacher wife brought home a few weeks back helped my efforts in a rather uncomfortable manner!) Anyways, my kilts still fit, but tightened all the way the last time I wore one.
Christmas cookies might have resulted in a relapse, however. I'm afraid to step on the scale to find out...!

I had the issue of dropping a couple pounds between the time the final measurement for my kilt was made to it arriving....right from the start I'm on the very last notch on my kilt straps!
Actually that's a good thing, I need to drop some weight....however, if I drop anymore I'll need to send it back to Matt to have the straps readjusted!!
