Well alright I am back . In truth I have hardly been away, but I have spent even more time answering PM's and emails to members wishing me well and asking me to reconsider things, than I ever did when I was full time here. That takes some doing I can tell you!

If I may and on a very sad note, a wee message to the two distinctly threatening emails that I did not reply to and to their authors. I do , however say this to them:-

"I DO NOT BOW TO THREATS. NOT NOW, NOT EVER."

To all the other kind members here, "I do not expect everyone , or indeed anyone, to agree with anything that I say and I am not fool enough not to understand that people outwith Scotland in particular will have difficulty with some of what I say. That is life I am afraid and I have no intention of elaborating further on this subject."

On that note Mods., can I ask you to close this thread and let normal Jock Scot service to be resumed. If that is alright by you?
