    Kilt tattoo!

I like the idea, but it seems like the kilt is pleated all the way around.

It's surprising how often this happens. I've got a pewter piper key fob, and his kilt is pleated all the way around, even though the rest of him is pretty accurate.

A clever idea. Next you would, no doubt, suggest interchangeable flaps for his sporran. Or PC and argyll jackets for formal and day wear.

It does look good. It's a shame that tattooes with that much fine detail blur over the years. Judging from the red skin around it, it must be freshly done.

Make it good, its a lifetime deal. You can take your own art to your tattoo artist, or even describe what you want to a good one.

Not sure how to make a good tattoo tartan without the lines bleeding into each other....

Of course the nice thing about back work is that you don't have to look at it...

The earliest philabegs WERE pleated all the way around, so it's not a total disaster....
