    well, i can't make to too much fun of mantyhose since i wear long biking tights in winter--but they go on right before i ride and come right off when i am back home. i would never just walk around in spandex (which is one of the reasons why i picked up a cheap, used sport kilt to carry with me). spandex and compression clothing have a place/purpose in a wardrobe for exercising. however, i cannot abide mantyhose as a fashion accessory.
