Like whom do you write?
For all you aspiring writers among the rabble, here's a clever little analyzer to determine just whom your own, personal writing style resembles. I can't speak for its accuracy, but I took a wide array of my own writing samples, from Blog entries, to restaurant reviews, to more technical oeuvres. Although I got a number of different writers spit back at me, the predominant one was David Foster Wallace. Except for this post. The analyzer tells me it's decidedly Lovecraftian. Anyway, have fun!

I got DFW as well, but James Joyce predominantly. I don't think it's that accurate. I think it just picks a popular author based on word usage rather than style.

I do not, but if I had my choice, I'd write like Christopher Hitchens.

As a fine artist rather than a literary one, my work has been likened to Egon Schiele.

My writing was analysed as being like Stephen King also. What do we have in common?

I tried two different submissions and I got Cory Doctorow. Based on the one work of his I've read, I guess I write like a blogger with illusions of being a novelist!

My writing is a montage. It is a cross between Alan Liere, Gene Hill, and Peter Chapstick. Rarely, it has been compared to Muir and Leopold. If I get caught up, and the mutt doesn't bother me, I can get descriptive. My biggest problem is that while English is my native tongue, I lack proper grammar and spelling abilities.

Just like the rest of us then. I think that is a mountain all strive to conquer. English is taller than Mount Everest in that regard.
