A little help regarding a fusion reactor?
Okay first off, I'm not a terrorist. My friend was bumming around on the internet and found an article about a high school student creating a working fusion reactor. Naturally, being high school students with a love for this sort of maniacal scheme, we've decided to build one.
So far the best info I've come across is from www.fusor.net and http://www.brian-mcdermott.com/fusion_is_easy.htm
Does anyone have any suggestions for other places where I could get more information on this sort of project? Thanks.

If scientists haven't been able to create cold fusion, I doubt kids messing around on the Internet are going to.
Good luck, though. I'm all for clean, cheap energy.

kinda reminds me of a scene in Weird Al's movie UHF. The TV station engineer gets his own science show. He tells his audience "Today we will learn to make plutonium from common household items"

The reactor in question generates about enough power to heat a cup of coffee, and requires a lot more power to run than it generates.

Were I in your place, I'd enlist my high school's physics teacher. Do you at least have an understanding of what you're about to get into?

I'm not sure but I'd say your going to need a lot of tin foil and a good shower cap and goggles.

Smoke detectors and Coleman lantern mantles.
Add a few more odds and ends that can be scrounged, and it could be done.

Oh, I know. I was referring to the comment about "making plutonium from household items."
