    By the way, Alex, did you get to drive the bus?
    I guess you must have driven at least one other bus that day, even if you didn’t get into the driver’s cabin of this one.

    No it wasn't a bus driving day for me Mike.
    The only double deckers which I drive are these four orange and green ones in Glasgow City Council's heritage fleet, left to right 1958 Leyland PD2, 1961 Leyland PD3, 1958 Daimler CVG6, 1958 Leyland PD2 open topper.

    I did wonder why the Wallace tartan bus belonged to London Transport. Surely Scotland has tartan buses too?
