Those are great!
I had not heard of this collaboration between Nike and Harris Tweed - you inspired me to check out other styles. I like these too.

My wife says "no" but I don't care. I'll have some snazzy kicks to wear while sleeping on the couch!

Anybody know where I can get a pair of these other than the blueprint pattern? I'm very interested in something more earth-toned but am not having much luck...

Re: For the love of TWEED!!!!
So the story goes, a weaver on the Isle of Harris was asked to send samples of his tweed to a potential customer called Nicky, then after a few weeks he received the order from Nicky, it wasn't for just a kilt length or two, or even a standard bolt of fabric, it was for miles and miles of the stuff, turned out to his suprise that Nicky was in fact Nike
Tis a true story, I was told it from as reliable source, unfortunately he is no longer with us to back up the facts, make of it what you will.

I too, Chris, have been told that story from "one what knows". I am a huge fan of tweed and Harris Tweed in particular and I am really glad that an internationally renowned company has seen fit to use it. Sadly, nothing on this earth would persuade me to part with a halfpenny to buy footwear like that.

Re: For the love of TWEED!!!!
So, I go to the official Nike web site, search for "harris tweed" and get a result that says, "Sorry, we found no products that match your search."
So where can one purchase these?
I know when Nike originally bought all that tweed, the shoes they were making were women's styles. This is the first I've seen men's styles, as well. But how will Santa know I want a pair if I cannot forward her [cough] I mean "him" a link? :-)
