    I don't know which is more stupefying: that bobbin lace is possible, or that somebody thought up the process.

    That's beautiful work, Jim. I've never seen it done in two colors. I'm sure Amy will be very proud of it (and of you).

    Soon as I saw your first post - I thought jabot!

    When you have finished making this, gather up the narrow end and hold it up to your throat - that will probably give you a good indication of what is needed for a jabot.

    Here I was trying to puzzle out a simple chessboard pattern for a hose cuff and you post this. Makes my head hurt just thinking about it! That's an ambitious project and is turning out beautifully. I suppose I can wait to see, but how does it get finished off -- starched and stitched to a fan frame? Fabulous.
