In Memoriam: W. Neil Fraser

For those that knew or knew of W. Neil Fraser, I offer a toast for him at his passing.

I only learned of his death by happenstance very recently. I first knew of Neil via an old website called, "Gathering of the Clans" that is now defunct. I maintained an email friendship with him thereafter until he went silent a few short years ago. His wife, Marie, informed me that he had become a victim of dementia and was no longer communicative. Neil had some career, including running the Clan Fraser Society of Canada for several years and a supporter of the Simon Fraser University Pipe Band.

I will miss him and his provocative character. Slainte!
