More surgery
I know I have not been posting here for some time now, and my lurking visits have been few and far between, but I just want to let you know that I will soon be totally incomunicado for a few weeks once again. Next Wednesday I am returning to hospital for what I hope will be the operation that will draw a line under the unexpected events which hit me in 2010. A week or so in hospital, a return to the convalescent home that cared for me so magnificently in August, and up to eight weeks of taking things very easily should combine to have me back on my feet by Easter, properly kilted and ready to resume the activities I was obliged to forsake almost a year ago. That is my hope.
Keep all the flags flying and the pleats swinging and I will return to the fold as soon as I am able.
Warmest fraternal regards, and
Take care,
Ham.

Prayers and best wishes to you. The flag will fly high and the plaid will play in the breeze.

Both thumbs in the air for you, Hamish. Not that we want to wish bits of our lives away, but...roll on Easter.

My prayers are for you.
Will your next kilt be made from hospital gowns?
