Motorcycle stuff
Alan H told me to post up some motorcycle pictures here, as apparently a few of you are gear heads.
Here's some of the things I do for fun.
Vintage bike racing/vintage mx:

Sidecar motocross:

I race modern off road bikes, as well....but have been on a hyadas for a while due to an achilles tendon injury.
My current vintage projects include a '59-'60 Cotton 250:

and a silly '75ish little Indian 100cc:

But the most major "project" going on is moving everything out of all the various storage units, people's houses, including our own....etc...and getting everything sorted out and tidy into a 3800sqft warehouse. We also have a 1600 sqft shop where we intend to have just for working on bikes, not as a parkinglot, as it has been for almost 4 years.
We'd done runt outta room.
Here's the day we got the keys (March 4thish):

...and about a month later (couple weeks ago):

...and here's the "Little Shop"....FINALLY with some elbow room to work!

I did actually take "Irish National" pics.
Nah, not much of a girly girl.....but I need to look a tad more sveelt unless I made it myself.
Soon. My sewing table is standing up at the front door waiting it's turn in line.
Had a ....I can't agree to the uniform co's minimum....so it's up to me to figure out what I want to wear every day.
Uniform coming up....but has to wait til it reaches the top of "the list".
It was HOT today and had a ton of labor to do. Pushing modersickes round.
My Irish is too big and my "utiliknockoff" is just not comfy.
I chose $3 clearence "gang banger" style vented jersy shorts.
Yeah....*choice* "look".
"Least it's a Saturday."
LOL
Blue Collar Uniform kilt coming soon.
Dickies wif pleats.

love vintage racing.. I go every time they race near here. I miss racing myself and liked to get back into after some more weight loss and I finish healing from a few more injuries....

Thorina,
I live near Salt Lake. I've got a set of Givi hard bags for the Sprint so I've been able to make some longer trips in comfort. From here, I've been down into Monument Valley, and the area around Prescott AZ, up to Yellowstone and then into British Columbia, and over into northern California. I have family in the bay area, as well as up in Weaverville and my in-laws are in Amador county. I have to admit that the stretch from SLC to Reno is brutal on a bike--it's not much fun in the car either--but heading north out of Reno and looping around Mt. Lassen, then over to the coast is a nice ride. Highway 299 between Redding and Eureka has some nice twisties.

I recognize that view. I'll be making the trip to Weaverville within the next couple of months. I'm debating whether I really want to do it on the bike, just because of that stretch to Reno.
