Hello to the New England Rabble!!

It seems that Uncle Sam has seen fit to move me closer to the water where (in my opinion) this sailor belongs. Currently, I am still in Oklahoma, but my time here is coming quickly to an end. I will be visiting Newport next week to find a place for me and the family to move to in May--after school lets out. I will be there in April to begin working at my new assignment.

Anyway, I have noticed there are several members here that are in the NE area and hope to be able to join in some of the fun. I'm not sure if there are any XMarkers in Little Rhody specifically, but it's all pretty near together up that way. I'm looking forward to getting back to the East Coast.

Hopefully there is a kilt night or two...my time in Oklahoma has offered extremely limited/rare opportunities to get with others and socialize.

An early welcome back. In early june you'll have a local highland games in RI at the Washington County Fairgrounds, in Richmond. Hope to see you there.

heh..I started my naval career there...nice town..bit too cold for me...I may be up that way this summer...as we have a house in Narragannsett. (wanna buy it, make ya good deal, maybe 3/4 of a million? lol)

And you'll be close enough to New Hampshire to make the games @ Loon Mountain doable, in September.

Im always up for a kilt night. I'll be at the NH games this year too. I also plan on going to the Glasgowlands games too.
