As we all know knowing someone famous is a common occurrence. Knowing someone who will be famous is even more exciting. But, when it is your Grandson it gets even Better! Briston Maroney will bee seen on American Idol this season He has already made it through the audition cuts to be one of the 31 finalist. This week they will show the men's group competition w/ a further winnowing of the crowd. Next week the social media voting begins. I ask you to watch next week for sure and form your own opinion about the talent of our youth. Bristion while on our family vacation in Ireland 3 years ago had the privilege of playing a quick tune for Liam O'Rirodan of Trad Routes for critique. He was given Mr O'Riordan's guitar and played his best bit, a rock/jazz tune. Mr O'Riordan smiled and said "well that music has never come out of this guitar before... but it was pretty good." I ask you to watch and enjoy Briston's 15-20 min of fame w/ our family
