My new style cafe bike I feel like a hooligan

so here is my new triumph speed triple. it was styled after the old fifty's & sixty's cafe racers. As a man who wears akilt when I decided I wanted A motorcycle I couldn't get the same kind of motorcycle everybody else in my area has I just had to be different I learned how to ride on a sports bike so cruisers were out of the question for me I was thinking about buying an old triumph bonneville and converting it to a cafe racer but when I found this on craigslist I just couldn't pass it up expecially with the price they were asking. It's such a nice bike I really can't even explain it. It's so much better than my old yamaha FZR or any other bike I've ever ridden. It is such a blast! Without further ado here it is

Very cool. Triumph are one of my favorites, and I adore naked bikes. Put them together, and you wind up with... well, you already have it. Well done!

    Congratulations Cowher,
The Speed Triple is a fun bike to ride and as a ZRX rider I appreciate the naked bikes. A good friend of mine has a Sprint and a Trophy and the Rats guys he rides with all have kilts including him. Apparently it's a Rat thing. There should be a Rat group near you.
I'm just trying to be the person my dog thinks I am.

That is sweet. It looks to be in pretty good shape. You'll love it.

    Edited to add:
BTW, if you don't already know of them, check out www.triumphrat.net They have a sub-forum specifically for the 885 cc triples, especially the Sprint 900, Speed Triple and Trident. There are a lot of good people on there who are very knowledgeable about the first-generation Hinckley Triumphs.

Very nice..........the 900 triumph triple powerplant is a gem. I rode an 01 sprint rs with the 955 engine for a couple years and the thing pulled like a tractor throughout the rpm range. Triumph really does the triple like nobody's business.

Here's my 11 year old cafe bike. I keep higher bars on it as I tour on it and have put 100,000km's on her in the 10 years I've owned it.

I found the triumphrat forum to be quite helpful when I had my sprint with lots of very smart people with some clever solutions to issues that may pop up. A number of them had some interesting mods they did as well.

Some good stuff frequently pops up for sale on their sale forum as well.

I think you're going to really love your speed 3..........it's such a great bike and sharp looking too.
