    Thumbs up Neat Looking Tattoo

A friend showed me this the other day, and I thought it was amazing. I could do something like this but on my chest or back instead.

[EDIT]: If you can't tell it's a rampart lion colored with the union jack.

I hate to sound like a know-it-all, but the lion is rampant, not rampart. I doubt there has ever been a lion on the ramparts.

It is only the Union Jack when flown on a vessel of the Royal Navy.

Otherwise it is correctly called the Union Flag.

Not actually so.....popular belief has it that it should be called the Union flag when not on a ship(or from Admiralty Arch) but it has been known at least from 1908 ( and proably much earlier...
    quoting from Hansard

I think it may fairly be stated, in reply to the noble Earl, that the Union Jack should be regarded as the National flag, and it undoubtedly may be flown on land by all His Majesty's subjects.

I think I've come to a conclusion about tattoos in the last couple years.

I really like them... On other people.

I still have never encountered anything that I would want inked on me permanently -- that I just HAD to have... Was the case when I was 16, is still the case in my 30s now. But I do like looking at what other people have and listening to the stories about them. It's neat.

I think this is usually my phase, I've always liked tattoos and I've always mildly wanted one, but I've never jumped the "gun" so to speak.

Don't feel like you have to, either. There have been times when I thought a particular tattoo was particularly cool or funny, but I suspect it's a bit like a joke you keep hearing or seeing. The first time, you laugh your a$$ off. The second time, you chuckle a little. But by the 10th time, you wish you never heard it.

Anyway, check out this site. This is where I go to look at peoples' "art galleries."

Note: Although the SITE itself is safe, (it's part of the I Can Haz Cheezburger / Failblog network)... Some peoples' choices of bad ink may be in some cases NSFW, or anywhere else for that matter. So please be careful if you view the site at work or school. http://ugliesttattoos.failblog.org/
