    "Neville" sweater

Warning, there are absolutely no kilts in any of these pics.

Moving on... the first thing you have to know is that my wife is a big Harry Potter fan. And one of her favorite characters is Neville.

Second thing you need to know is that my wife is a very talented and avid knitter, and she especially likes doing color work. She adores knitting Fair Isle.

That being said, she went absolutely nutty when the final Harry Potter film came out and she saw her favorite character wearing this.

She scoured the internet and found every still shot and close up she could showing the sweater; charted out the pattern herself; made a few improvements to the design to her liking; and for the past few months has been working like mad on a recreation.

Today, I reap the benefits. I present to you all... the Most. Awesome. Sweater. Ever.

That sweater is fantastic and the black/white photo looks downright hipster!

My wife is an unabashed Potterphile...she was, shall we say, duly impressed. My ears are still ringing.

    That is impressive!

WOW! Your lady has some serious talent!

My wife is the original HP freakazoid. I have shelves and boxes of every HP article ever. The Hogwarts train goes under the xmas tree each year, and the cast signed poster of the first movie hangs in the living room. And she knits.

    She's gonna love this.

Almost as much as I do

As a huge HP nerd I can honestly say that your sweater is UNBELIEVABLY cool! I don't think I could pull that off, but I wish I could.
