New Group
Hi all.
I have noticed that many Xmarkers have references to archery, shooting, hunting, fishing, etc. in their signature lines and/or profiles. I recently set up a group called "Hunters, Fishermen, and Other Liars", for those interested in sharing stories, pictures, recipies or any other outdoors wild game experiences.
The link is here:

I personally dream of a hunt in Scottland for stag, and driven pheasants...someday, kilted, of-course!

Let me feed the dog, throw a log on the fire, pour two fingers of whiskey, and let the stories start.

Awesome. I'm in. Shooting/hunting and collecting firearms are my biggest hobbies.
We're not going to run afoul of board rules in talking about weaponry there, are we?

Good question! Would a mod like to advise us here, before we get too far into this? It would be a shame to get it all wrong, now would'nt it?

Welcome aboard!

Not my intent. I just thought that it was yet another common ground that many Xmarkers had. No different than discussing stag antler handled dirks and sgian dubhs...We'll have to keep an eye on it, but from what I've seen, most on this board are decent, civil individuals. I'm no moderator, but it shouldn't be a problem (IMHO).
(I don't want to ruffle any feathers here, so I have submitted a PM to one of the board moderators for a ruling)

azwildcat96,
You realize that by adding the term "and Other Liars" to your group you are going to get a lot of us kilted golfers don't you?

I'm game
But I have no desire to hunt in my kilt. The thought of briars getting stuck in the folds of my pleats gives me nightmares.
