Ohio trip!

Almost ready ta go. In about two hours I will be heading out for the trip ta see me da in the Valley Hospice. It's about a 16 hour drive and I'm sure it will seem longer this time.

I'll be leaving out about 8:30 am, I'll have to take rest breaks along the way so I don't know what time I'll get in. I keep ya posted when I get there.

Again I want ta thank everyone for their prayers and support.

Made it to Charleston WVa in 12 1/2 hours before having to pull over for the night. Just couldn't go any further, even though I wanted to, the ol body just wouldn't go any further. Got a room but the body wouldn't sleep right away, just tossed and turned for what seem hours before drifting off.

Back on the road at 6:30am and arrived here at 9:30am, bright an bushie tailed I was not.

Found me da setting up in bed reading the news paper. Sassy as all hell. I talked with him a few minutes and his doctor came in all dumb founded scratching his head. I asked him what was going on and he said he had a change yesterday and he acted as though he wanted to go home. He does seem stronger, even though the cancer is still there of course, there does seem to be a change in his attitude.

The doctor doesn't know what to make of it. He, my da wants to get up out of bed, and go to the bathroom on his own, everyone is stunned to say the least. I asked the doctor what he thinks is going on or is this something we can hang some type of hope on or is this just a phase,temperary, he is going thru, and he wasn't sure what to say. They are having an oncologist{?} come in on Monday to have another look see.

Me myself am totally baffeled by the goings on. He has been eating well today and we had a chance to have a nice long talk. I am back at the hotel now and do need to take a nice long nap for a while. Going back later to have dinner with him this evening!

Saturday evening up date! Stayed with da until 9:30pm last nite, when he fell asleep and he had a good evening. Spoke to the Drs. and nurses again and they are amazed as to his attitude and new forward progress. He had a good dinner and ate it all, That is a good sign they say. His other Doctor will be in tomorrow,Monday.

We are keeping our fingers crossed and praying for good from all this.
