    Oi!

Just got a call from Red_Raven_Studios. Her son (my stepson), master of common sense that he is, took some fart bombs to school with him today. Tried to set one off and got caught. Came very close to leaving school with the cops (class 6 felony). He's been kicked out of school for what little is left of the year.

Now we have to decide which of his body parts to cut off and sell on the black market.

I'm very sorry that you have to deal with that. I put my parents through a similar ordeal when I was younger, except I had a knife...

Hopefully dealing with the expulsion and the court system will be enough to scare him straight. It was for me.

I wish all of you the best as you deal with this hassle (that could last for six months to a year, with probation), and I hope it brings you closer together as a family.

Ouch! That's too bad. I remember a more innocent time when such an offense would have garnered detention and a parent teacher conference at most. Tis a far different world in which we live today.

I happy to say that he knows better than to take a knife to school (or I thought so until this happened). The school didn't call the cops, but they could have.

yep! Boy Genius strikes again. If I let him live till he turns 18.....it will be a small miracle. Now to come up with an appropriate punishment..to remind him of how many days he is going to wish he was still in school.

I say we start by confiscating his xbox, playstation, and passwording him off the computer until school would normally be over (just for starters).

My parents thought I was smarter than that too...

I hope he realizes how lucky he is... It could have been sooo much worse than it is.

Yes, because he's old enough to be tried as an adult and be looking at a couple of years (not likely, it would probably be probation).

Man if my kids ever try anything like that when they are older those items would be gone for good, not just for a short period of time.

Good luck sorting out the issue and the punishment. Do you need the house painted and the yard redone? That's always a good one and a summer I won't forget. You gotta love kids....
