I am on leave and finding things to do around the house that I have wanted to do for some time. So, for the past three days I have been painting, staining and shellacking this park bench I bought two or three years ago at a garden center.
Painting the sides.
This is what the wood looked like before I stained it and applied several coats of shellac.
The green paint is Krylon Outdoor Spaces, 2902 Moss. I first tried this other green but it came out like the Green Monster at Fenway, and although I am a Red Socks fan I knew that my ex would not like that green.
The finished bench and the first one to sit on it was the Australian Heeler Joey.
