Good evening all,

Saturday I was invited as a guest speaker for the Boy Scouts' Vet's Parade. I was to speak of the connection between the Scouts and the military. While I was there I was able to get a shot of what Veteran's/Remembrance Day is about. Here is a shot of a WWII Okinawa survivor, a Vietnam Vet and a Desert Storm Vet -

I'm of the latter two categories and my dad's in the first. Actually, my dad was also one of a group of 11 Marine survivors of Iwo Jima who returned to the island this year for the annual commemoration of the battle.

(EDIT: Oops, I misread. Mine were that SE Asian thing and Desert Shield, not Desert Storm.)
