Perhaps XMarkers aren't so bad, after all. . .
A snippet from WSJ article about new NFL jerseys:
". . . the Gridiron Uniform Database, a fan-run site primarily concerned with design debates such as whether 'the stripes on the Redskins' white pants [are] thinner/narrower than they used to be.' "
We do have our share of discussions about, for example, the Duke of R's waistbands -- but at least many of the XMarks "design debates" concern clothing that the members are actually wearing, not just watching others wear!
