Phew!
Ho-hum, what have I been doing over the weekend?...
MOVING TO ENGLAND THAT'S WHAT!!!!
I know it is early days but I am loving it so far.
The very first day I had a kilt discussion with a lady. She can't wait to have her first son and put him in a kilt. Unfortunately, she shouldn't reproduce...Boyfriend said he won't wear one. Trust me, this is a favour (again) for us women!

Ok, give us locals a clue?Nothing specific of course, but North,South, East, West? My money is on, East? Spring is trying to spring at the moment although I am under an inch or two of fresh snow at the moment in the "frozen North"!

Congratulations on the move.
Are you going to be near enough to join in some of our kilt nights?

Welcome, to whichever part of England you have come to - and because today was just so glorious -
Oh, to be in England
Now that April's there,
And whoever wakes in England
Sees, some morning, unaware,
That the lowest boughs and the brushwood sheaf
Round the elm-tree bole are in tiny leaf,
While the chaffinch sings on the orchard bough
In England - now!
And after April, when May follows,
And the whitethroat builds, and all the swallows
Hark! where my blossomed pear-tree in the hedge
Leans to the field and scatters on the clover
Blossoms and dewdrops - at the bent spray's edge
That's the wise thrush; he sings each song twice over,
Lest you should think he never could recapture
The first fine careless rapture!
And though the fields look rough with hoary dew,
All will be gay when noontide wakes anew
The buttercups, the little children's dower, -
Far brighter than this gaudy melon-flower!
Robert Browning (1812-1889)

England has lovely Springs and it is my favourite season.
Actually I am north and east just not the Northeast!

I am a lot closer than I was! (:
I don't know where all the kilt nights are but I would love to go! Not sure about the Burns stuff cause he was good writer but also a jerk. I might get past the haggis but that lassies stuff gags me. Would I be able to write a lassy reply? (;
