    Thats a lot of planes. Davis-Monthan AFB perhaps?

    Yes Alex That is Davis-Monthan.
    Working with an aviation museum we used to request permission about once a year to go to the bone yard a scrounge for parts and to photograph old Aircraft markings.

    There used to be a great sign just inside the Gate.

    I have been to the pima air and space museum just adjacent to Davis Monthan afb and both are well worth a visit.

    I would love to pay a visit, I could see myself using alot of film while there I bet they dont often see alot of kilted aviation geeks lol

    actually a friend of mine who used to work there was kilted pretty regularly.

    he designed and built the mars space lander display. and I've gone to visit there kilted a couple of times to hang out and BS with the restorers (sp)

    I drive right past it every day on the way to work. We call it the Bone Yard. Most of the planes are flight worthy just not being used. The Pima Air And Space Museum offers tours if you're interested. Of course, I work for a company that shoots planes down so we call them targets!
