    Piping the rovers home

    Hi all,

On the last day of my recent adventure on the science team for the NASA lunar rover test in Arizona, I had the truly extraordinary experience of piping the rovers and their crews home to base camp after a week in the field.

Great job, Barb! Dose this mean you're the official rover- caller-homer? Might a trip to the moon, or Mars, be in order for you? LOL!

Super! For many that would be the thrill of a lifetime, but I think for Barb just another day in a varied and busy life

By the way...sorta like when they adapted the Hum-Vee into the Hummer for the civilian market...

....when can I expect to get one of these babies that has been made street legal for the consumer market?

In space, no one can hear you scream. But on Mars, the pipes would be interesting. Perhaps a little reedy. I hope to live to find out, but I would be satisfied with a recording-I mean, not a live performance.

Altho... the red would bring out the green in my kilt...
