Please keep my dad in your thoughts & prayers
I haven't been around here much for a few months ("life" getting in the way), but recently I found out that my Dad (Dee Holmes) has a very aggressive form of prostate cancer & would like to ask the rabble to keep him in your thought's & prayers please.
Because of its location, surgery is out of the question (fears that cancer cells could be missed & end up spreading). So, beginning March 31st he begins chemo' therapy & med's.
My dad & I did not have the best relationship when I was growing up, and as a matter of fact I didn't have much to do with him until I was able to get over it & forgive him about 6 or 7 years ago. Now that things have gotten better in the last couple of years, with plans for the future, I feel a wee bit "cheated" by these circumstances!
Anyhow, thanks in advance everyone!

That is not good news and a tough situation. All I can do is wish your father, you and your family all the very best and I do so most sincerely.

You and your father are in my thoughts. All the best for the both of you during the challenging time ahead. It is good that the past between the two of you has been sorted. I am sure the both of you have many good times to share yet

Terry - I know from personal experience how you must feel. Take comfort in the fact you and your father have finally been reconciled, even if it works out that it was only for a few years. It is far, far better than never having a reconciliation at all.
Regards
Chas

Terry,
You are on my list.
Victoria
Just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.
