Pour, oh, pour the pirate sherry!
So, the dates/times have been finalised for the University of La Verne performance of The Pirates of Penzance.
For those who may not have heard, I am playing Major-General Stanely (in a kilt!).
The dates are:
Saturday, May 17, at 7:30 PM
Sunday, May 18, at 2:00 PM
It should run about 2 hours, including an intermission between Act I and Act II.
If any of the rabble will be in the area (here), feel free to come by! I assure you that it will be a quite wonderful performance, if I do say so myself

Whilst I understand "breaking a leg" is an acceptable term in acting circles.Presumably breaking both legs is not?

From a former thespian to a current one: Break a leg!
I did rather enjoy my experiences in the theatre when I was young. I hope you are enjoying yours.

I was in this show in graduate school.
Go, ye heroes, go to glory,
Though you die in combat gory,
Ye shall live in song and story.
Go to immortality!
Go to death, and go to slaughter;
Die, and every Cornish daughter
With her tears your grave shall water.
Go, ye heroes, go and die!
