Prayers needed for X-marker Turpin
This is a very hard post to write. One of our members, Turpin, is undergoing very serious health issues. He was diagnosed with cancer back in the fall of 2012 and lost a kidney to it at Christmas. Since then Turpin has undergone chemo and radiation, but the cancer is very agressive and seems to be winning the battle. I entreat all who know him and any others to send along your prayers and healing thoughts.
As a favour to him, please don't send him emails or texts or phone him. He has no strength and is currently dealing with a lot of painkillers and is not well enough at this time to deal with them. I encourage you however, to post here, his favourite site, to see any wishes you may care to send him. Feel free to PM me if you wish and I'll update the thread whenever I can.
I met Turpin at the Stone Mountain Games in 2011 and I hope to spend every SMG with him. He's fighting hard and I know with your support, he'll feel stronger.
Thank you.

Very sorry to hear this news.
I wondered why we had not heard much from Turpin lately.
I have never met him but always enjoy his valued contributions.
Prayers being said for Turpin.
Keep up the fight Turpin. My auntie Jean was much older than you when she went through surgery and chemo and radiotherapy in her mid seventies and she recovered and went on to live till she was almost ninety.

Turpin will definitely be in my prayers! He made the first "real sporran" I purchased, and I believe I had the pleasure of meeting him last summer at the GFM games.

Prayers, of course! May he recover; may he be comfortable; may he be comforted, strong, courageous, and content. God bless our friend-I've-never-met.
