question for my clergy brethren - collars
Greetings fellow clergy .. and I know there are a number of us on the site. I need your assistance.
Yesterday I went into my nearest church supply house to purchase, amongst other things, a full collar. I wear said for worship. Only to be informed that they were getting out of carrying them and had nothing my size in stock.
Can anyone recommend a supplier? I used to wear collars made by Pontiff which were celluloid collars and liked them much more than my current Clericool collars; but beggars can't be choosers and I'll wear what I can find.
Thank you for your help. And Blessings of the Season to you all. May you have a couple of days of rest and relaxation after this busy season.

Thank you, Bill. It was actually Augsburg that informed me that they were no longer going to be stocking collars; and they had none in my size.
I have also been wondering if there may be some better ones to be had from across the waves.

Not sure, but I have very few problems ever with the other two stores. Augsburg's parent company in the states is belly skyward I'm told, but I didn't know they were out of collars yet.

Whilst not clergy myself, I come from an entire family of priests/ministers of one stripe or another. All of the recommendations so far are good for plastic collars. If you ever decide to go the linen/cloth collar route, you may find the following blog post illuminating. My godfather swears by Trevor Floyd, while my own dad prefers Whippell. They're both getting new stocks for Christmas!

I have used Cokesbury in the past, though it has been a while. I bought a few of the Tab Collars. I still use them from time to time and they have held up well over the years. Here is the link: http://www.cokesbury.com/forms/vestm...lergy%20Shirts
