    Red face R.I.P. Visa

    It's everywhere I shouldn't be!

The summer school check came in along with another stipend for theater management. Enough to pay off the Visa bill ($8000+)

My lovely wife took my Visa card and hers and we had a little cutting ceremony. Then she watched me go to PayPal and remove the card from the account.

Luckily I still have my cash card from my checking/savings on PayPal so I can make purchases, but they are from cash reserves, not credit.

This will make every kilt and accessory a must-have, no longer a gotta-have.

I will live with our good choices and not dwell on the previous ones.

So I guess I am always on the lookout for a bargain, but the tank is now something I am saving for.

Good on ya, Chub! Your life's going to have an entirely different vibe. Seriously.
Why, a child of five could understand this. Quick -- someone fetch me a child of five!

Aye,"Neither a borrower or lender be!" Listening to that really would have saved this, and all the other economies a lot of trouble!

Good for both of you. They are all too easy to use.

I agree with every word. Four years credit card free - one pay cheque at a time.

Congrats... its a good feeling being credit debt free... I only have a debit card myself... and prefer it that way...

I would love to be in your brogues. I have yet to be paid for my summer but it will all go straight into a bathroom remodel.

Funny because most of what went on the Visa in the last year was a bathroom remodel in our home.
