Renaissance Festival in Austin Texas Wild Bird lady

We went to the Ren Fest in Austin today and had a blast, so many cool friendly people having a good time.

Every time I looked over my shoulder there was a lady in a bird costume that was pretty sweet so I finally figured I better take a picture before the heat got to her and she disappeared for the day.

Also while walking around I found a replica black powder pistol laying on the ground, it was one of the high end replicas, so I broke from the family and took it to lost and found. I hope the owner got it back. A lesson to be learned is to secure your gear and keep checking if its there lol

If you ever get a chance to go to one, Do it! The food was really good too.
The kilts were way over priced but there was a vendor there with Kiltman kilts selling for the same as the Kiltman website. I go their card since they have a local shop in Austin and plan on going by there next week to pick one up.

Being up here in Washington sure was a shock in climate differences. I was burnt!

Washington, wow I bet it was a bit of a change in temp for you.
I remember when we moved to Texas from Virginia, I was so confused when it was supposed to be winter and still 98 degrees lol.
I have acclimated slightly after five years but still long for a good snow
Looks like you guys had fun, the place and people are really cool. We may try the camping next year and see what that is like.
