On the road again

Hi all,

Getting my flight legs under me again. Heading out this weekend to the family up in Detroit. Got the family obligations thing going. Am hopeing to make my way to Masonic Temple for a tour tomorrow morning.

Also heading out to Port Hueneme next month for a couple weeks of Navy duty. Hoping to get to LA the weekend I'm there.

Hoping I'll have enough room for a kilt with all

If you golf, Hueneme has a pretty decent course. Really nice area.

Anyone have knowledge of the Santa Barbara area? I was recommended to there for wine, food and fun.

You may have to sell a few cherished possessions first. Santa Barbara was expensive when I lived in California,, and that was a veeeeeery long time ago.

That area has a lot of money, very old money in it. Down on the pier there used to be a wine tasting place that I took the Missus to but my Navy pay wasn't enough to get me more than a block or two from there.
