    Scott or not, I'm proper.

We had to go out & get some anti-virus stuff for my computer today. On our way out I guess that a couple had been standing in the vestibule watching us herd the wee one around trying to get to the right exit door.
As we came through that door into the vestibule, the woman laughed and said something about us finally finding the right door. Then as I turned to go out into the parking lot I heard a Scottish accent from behind me saying "You are wearing that like a proper Scotsman aren't you?"
I turned around to see that it was her boyfriend, a very tall and very Scottish gent.
I was surprised as it computed that he was referring to what should not be under the kilt, then I just said "aye" and we both smiled and went about what we were doing. Gota love those wink, wink, nudge, nudge moments with others in the know.

So apparently I have now been judged by a Scot to be "proper".

It hadn't occurred to me at the time but after we got in the truck, Kim said I should have asked him why he wasn't wearing his kilt.

Anyway, it was a cool encounter so I thought I'd share.

That's cool. The only time I was called a "real scottsman", was from a guy at the barber. I was wearing my black UK and a sporran at the time, plus it dossn't help that I was bigger then everyone in the place. They all thought I was a highland athlete.
