I've just started teaching Macbeth to my grade eleven English classes, and just for a lark I thought I would share with them the first half of the Scottish Falsetto Sock Puppet Theatre's version of the Scottish play. If you've never seen any of the Scottish Falsetto Sock Puppet Theatre's stuff, you really ought to check them out on YouTube (here's a link to their little song "What Scotland has Made" -- it's good for a laugh: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c4jtNmlCB1o ). I first came across them looking for some Dickens stuff and found their version of A Christmas Carol, which is also highly amusing.
Good fun, a lot of folk will laugh.
Great show, I've sent it on to educate others.
They're great fun. And they take on a lot of topics for the sake of humour. The only stuff they do that I don't quite get is their Doctor Who spoofs, having never really watched the Doctor at all. Glad you enjoyed it!
